They were incredibly friendly, and we became friends just after they checked out 😆✚ One of the highlights was skipping stones together in the river behind our guest house 😊 Unfortunately, Owakudani was completely covered in thick fog and everything was white ☁ Even so, they shared this wonderful photo of themselves enjoying Hakone’s famous black eggs with big smiles on their faces 🥚😆 Thank you so much for staying with us!😊 We hope to see you again in Hakone someday ♚👍 🇚🇊カナダからお越しの幌なじみ3人組 ずおもフレンドリヌな3人で、チェックアりト埌に仲良くなりたした😆✚ ゲストハりスの裏を流れる川で䞀緒に氎切りをしお遊んだのも楜しい思い出です😊 倧涌谷はあいにくの濃い霧で真っ癜☁ 景色は芋えたせんでしたが、黒たたごを楜しむ玠敵な笑顔の写真をシェアしおくれたした🥚😆 ご滞圚いただきありがずうございたした たた箱根でお䌚いできる日を楜しみにしおいたす♚👍 #hakone #blackegg #skippingstones #川遊び #childhoodfriends

  • A wonderful family from Urawa city, Japan😊✚ By an amazing coincidence, they turned out to be neighbors of one of Lisa’s (Ted’s sister’s) friends from junior high school, and even more surprisingly, the daughter takes ballroom dancing lessons with Lisa’s friend! 💃😆 We also discovered several other connections. The daughter is the same age as Ted’s daughter, and their birthdays are only one day apart! 🎂✚ It really made us feel how small the world can be and what a wonderful coincidence it was to meet them. This Guest House is a great place to meet fellow travelers from around the world.

Our staff speak English and is ready for any assistance or advice to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible. We are centrally located the resort town of Sengokuhara in Hakone National Park. Restaurants, hiking trails, museums, convenient stores, and beautiful mountain trails are all within walking distance.

English map of Hakone National Park and our neighborhood is available. In addition, we have a natural hot spring bath that contains eighteen different kinds of minerals. Our hot spring bath is an excellent way to relieve tension and improve your health.

At our Guest House you can also enjoy Japanese bathing in your own private bath (lock the door from inside)–a truly Japanese experience.
